No offence to Kolarov as he played really well but nowhere near deserved MOM.

Someone selected Nasri too the other week when he never touched the ball.

I remember the Nasri one, me and my brother were stunned at the decision too. Wasn't it the Villareal match?

Gareth Barry was superb today. Cool, calm and collected.

Kolarov was average - caught out of position a few times and seem prone to playing 'dare' with passes back to Lescott.

Lescott had a good game too.


I'm tempted to vote the ref for Man Of The Match - he was the star of the show today. Not a minute went by without him being noticed, whenever a player fell over, he was right in there.... I don't think I've seen anybody in PL blow a whistle quite the way he did. It's not easy when you have two faces.
