Can't think of any games at Barnsley in the late 70s. The first in the 80s was the League Cup game in 81-82 when we lost 1-0 and neither played according to MCFCstats.com.
Ron later played for Barnsley so he could have played against us in the 84-85 promotion season.

Was 85 game mate, cheers. Was 0-0 (I remembered that) Easter weekend and we played Leeds at home on the Monday

Paul and Ron played against us for Luton in the league cup (late 70's I think) the game went to a replay which was at old Trafford

All I remember Paul Futcher for is going over the ball and doing my mate Craig Moore's knee in a reserve game, he was a very promising rising young star at Bolton Wanderers at the time and had terrorised Futcher all match, he never recovered and it finished him at just 20 years old.

The Futcher twins will always be for me synonymous with the start of our downfall, came with a lot of hype & failed to match, unfortunately they weren't alone.
