Alex Harley against Spurs in a 1-0 at Maine Road.
It was my second match, the first was a 3-0 home defeat to Blackpool. That win was a big deal with Spurs being double holders at the time with their best ever team including Danny Blanchflower, Dave McKay, John White, Cliff Jones, etc.
Alex was a tragic figure and jumped ship to Birmingham when City were relegated. He never repeated his success with City. He was found dead in a hotel room six years later at the age of 32.

Imre Varadi, he scored both goals in a 2-3 defeat to Ipswich in the 4th Round of the Full Members Cup, 31st January 1987.
