Who should be the next leader of the Tory party?

They’re utterly pointless. 99.9% of the population can’t vote for any of them. They are all aware of that fact and straight bat every question as there is no merit in nailing their colours to the mast, but there is lots to lose if they make a gaffe.

Therefore they chat bullshit for an hour trying very hard to remember what their body language trainers told them.
Yup...they all still have Johnson’s tainted spaff still dripping from their chins anyway.

Your recollection is a bit off then as that accusation wasn’t one that MI5 thought had merit.

Still though, I wouldn’t want either you or Gardiner to be in government if you would do that!
Sorry I don’t tend to look at the epilogue as far as politicians are concerned.
There’s more than enough live action to maintain my interest.
As regards being in Government , if someone offered me 1/2 a million and he seemed to think there was nothing wrong with that amount, I would be happy to accept and retire gracefully.

Btw, how did Sunak come across in the end?

I fear he's being held out as a salvation for some who 'lent their vote' to the tories for the first time (hence one of the Blair references....although I'm quite sure Blair never showed such disdain to the working class as shown in that unearthed Sunak video last week).
Have you any idea as to how much Blair has made out of so called representing the working classes.
Latest estimates in 2022 say he is worth about £45 million pounds.
I cannot recall any charitable foundations he has set up to help the working classes since his retirement as pm.
I would have thought he has shown total disdain for those who put him in to power.
