Who should be the next leader of the Tory party?

Didn't she also wait until she'd left university (as head of the Cambridge University LibDem Society) before swapping?
In her defence and I am not one of her biggest fans, she was never going to get anywhere near the seats of power supporting the Lib Dem’s was she.

Neither can I when it comes to your posts in the thread about Shamima Begum. When I demonstrated that they were both logically incoherent and empirically suspect, you chose to ignore the content that drew attention to these flaws in your reasoning.

You actually seem like a decent sort but you maybe need to take a look in the mirror.
Couple of points.
Shamima Begum, the powers that be decided I can no longer post on that thread, I have insufficient privileges, whatever that means so I wasn’t ignoring you.
Secondly I would like to think I am a decent sort which I judge by the wide variety of friends I have, right up the social and economic scale.
I would also like to say that I think that the vast majority of posters on here are probably a decent sort and I would have no qualms about having a drink with them as it’s extremely unlikely that the subject of politics would raise its head.
I will happily debate a subject with anyone in fact I prefer a response to my posts than being ignored.
Most make very valid points and I have no problem in acknowledging the fact that they have made good points that’s difficult to argue against.
With others I must confess I scratch my head.
Why make it so personal, they know absolutely nothing about me yet they are happy to throw abuse like confetti
It’s usually the same old same old same old, never anything original.
I don’t know what they think it achieves and whether they act the same face to face with people who have different views than them, me thinks not.
For me when someone tries to make it personal against someone they know absolutely nothing about they have lost their case.
My point is and always will be, to anyone who relies on politicians to make significant changes to their, or anyone else’s life is going to be severely disappointed.
Changes will always come from within.

So it’s just power she’s after then, not integrity and sticking to what she actually believes in?

Sounds about right.
They are all after that power rush.
The majority of all politicians are extremely wealthy, you only need to look at their London pads when they are being interviewed.
They are certainly not in it for the salary as most could earn much more outside politics.

MadNads tired of briefings against candidates, she says, and then launches a multitweet whine at Mordaunt, notably managing to name that Truss/Badenoch were fine.

Pure coincidence that GoNads is backing Truss.
