Who should be the next leader of the Tory party?

Well it’s worked out pretty well over the last 12 years I guess
I have voted for all of the 3 major parties at one time or another. I have always tried to vote for who I thought were best for the country (and for me if I'm honest) at that particular time.

I have never seen political parties as being like football teams in that you pick one and stick with it regardless.

I was just joking mate, you’re entitled to vote for whoever you like.

I saw Steve Baker MP on TV the other day, and he arrogantly said “British people overwhelmingly have Tory values, they just occasionally vote for a different party.”

The truth is, the reverse is true.

The anti-Tory vote is consistently bigger at GE’s, but we end up with a Tory government time and time again.

They don’t reflect the views of the majority of the country, but they’re an election winning machine.

It’s not a matter of ‘They‘re all the same’, more of ‘The best of a bad bunch’. All the runners were/are pathetic, not sure I’ve seen the country in such a dire state.

All I am hearing is A or B will beat Starmer at the next GE. They betray what they are all about with that statement - no mention of the winner ruling in the best interests of the nation they are simply focussed on having someone in number 10 who can buy them another 5 years on the gravy train - they are so detached from your and my lived experiences the consequences of what they are doing have no impact on them and their families
