I reckon Truss wins then when push comes to shove say she can't do tax cuts because the economy has been trashed by the guy she just beat..... accept the inevitable and blame it on someone else

Oh I don't know. She's fixating now on the only economist to think Brexit would boost the economy.

Somehow I can't see Andrew Neil being allowed anywhere near Truss in the next two months, entertaining though the interview would be.
She appears to be just sticking to the Johnson approach of promising everything and anything, and not being bothered that much won't be done. I assume that there is some kind of psychology programming which makes it possible to not recognise an impossible promise as a lie.

I know many people don’t like Neil and some don’t like Mair, but God they could take politicians to pieces.

Won’t be long before Truss starts claiming that she will ‘get the big calls right’.
