what about households who's income is so low they don't pay tax? How do they benefit?
Oh I see Liz its families like those of MP's struggling to get by on £82K plus the income from their side hustle?

Just think of all those TV historians and archaeologist's and zoologists on TV doing it for free - Dr David Attenborough and Brian Cox exploited and earning a pittance - FFS there are so many degree's that take people to work they could not dream of at school - red meat for the loonies some of whom will have benefitted from having a degree........

A cynic might suggest she's just coming out with the first idea that comes into her head rather than giving it any thought and back-tracking when the stupidity is pointed out.
Perhaps JRM and the other puppet-masters should explain what they mean rather than just saying it.

Another amuse-bouche for the next two years, should she win. By this time next year, perhaps even earlier, people will be reflecting on whether it really was all that bad under Johnson after all.

The very notion that a small tax cut is going to make any discernible difference to those most at threat from the cost of living crisis is frankly laughable.

This will get destyroyed when it comes out. You have to pay tax in order for this to help you. Familys living in poverty pay either no or very little tax. All depends on the detail but obviously the more tax you pay the more this could hemlp you but at the same time the less likely you are to actually need the help.
