And I blame New Labour for this. Blair and Campbell changed politics for the worse in that regard. Soundbites and three word slogans then do little when in power about the manifesto you won on.

Didn’t Angela Rayner get criticised for using Commons headed notepaper to complain to a Brighton shoe shop about the fact that they had sold out of expensive Star Wars theme based shoes that she wanted a pair of.
Not something us commoners would ordinarily do.

Can you explain why she would put her formal complaint.. about a shop selling out, it happens , on House Of Commons notepaper, other than to pull rank over the likes of you and me
