Alright - keep your hair on! I've said my bit. Each to their own, but I disagree with you. I could be equally flabbergasted at your comments too but I can't be arsed.Personally, I'm flabbergasted that you put Dias and Kompany in the same sentence!
Most of the senior members that have been longest with Guardiola are talkers on the pitch.
However, there's very few of them that have grabbed the team by the scruff of the neck and dragged them to victories. Kompany, De Bruyne and Rodri have done just that. Before that Silva, Fernandinho with Aguero and Touré, to some capacity.
I'm happy to change my mind when Dias can join that list. Right now, Dias needs Stones or Akanji to offset his deficiencies of positioning and concentration on the pitch.
It's the same reason why I don't think Walker is suitable either.
Walker! I don't see anything in him to be captain and as regards club captain then his off field behavior totally excludes him from thatNobody vocal enough for me, they are all too nice.
Walker would be the best choice but it is a risk playing him, his legs and positional sense have gone.
Must have been a wind up, surely?!Walker! I don't see anything in him to be captain and as regards club captain then his off field behavior totally excludes him from that
The only one who might gee up the side if it was under performing.Must have been a wind up, surely?!
As current club captain I’ve rarely seen him “gee up the side”The only one who might gee up the side if it was under performing.
