I'm putting myself down here now by saying this but it's true - My Brother is seven years older than me yet has smoked marijuana most of his life, starting at 13yrs old.
I've rarely ever smoked weed, I can count on one hand when I have smoked it.... i just don't need it right now.
I would start consuming CBD (Black Widow) tomorrow if I needed it's healing properties for say Arthritis and so on.
I've always worked out, eat clean, drink in moderation (usually at a football match) I'm in the gym 4x per week, out running 2x per week, yet mentally my older brother runs rings around me.
His memory is much more sharper than mine, his ability to learn new things is stronger.
I'm not vouching for Marijuana as being perfect, but I'm saying to imply that everyone who smokes dope is lazy is in itself - lazy.
I'd much rather live on a street with people who smoke marijuana to relax than a bunch of rowdy cunts who think they are ten men after a few cans of stella (it's called wife beating juice for a reason)
Put me in a nice relaxing Cafe in Amsterdam any day of the week than a night out in town where everyone is scrapping as they can't handle their booze (and many on coke)
Everyone does react differently to everything. Each to their own as they say.
I've smoked weed and had experiences bordering from being completely paranoid/psychotic and ready to kill someone (I thought my brother was my father and shit lmao)
To on one occasion looking up at the sky, seeing it all green and thought I was communicating with Bob Marley.
this is decent homegrown shit though, with a lot of time and expertise put into growing it.
smoking the cheap bud you get the scrotes selling to kids I wouldn't know about as I've never smoked it.
But yes - I will be smoking/consuming marijuana (probably CBD oil) if or when I develop more health problems as I age.
I've seen my Nan go through severe pain with Arthritis. not for me.
The downside of weed for me has been the social element of it as people I grew up with tended to smoke weed and thus congregated together more because of weed.
And when one or two sourced weed, they'd also be encouraged to try other shit such as pills and eventually heroin.
So it isn't that weed in itself encourages people to become full time crackheads, it's just similar to how if you went into an off-license regularly to buy cans of lager,
you're more likely to spot the Vodka/Absinthe and buy a bottle of that as well one day.
This is why many past friends of mine are now dead as they became addicted to crack/heroin... Starting from smoking cigarettes, lager, then onto weed.
Weed if legalised would benefit our society much more, taking it away from the vermin who push the heavier shit to the vulnerable kids.
