Who smokes weed?

I can confirm that salvia is scary. It certainly plays tricks with the brain. One minute you are in your own little happy world then the next second you know it's not real and start to panic.

I thought I was a robot in Lego land and could pick houses up, my mate that I was smoking it with put his hand down his dirty toilet to clap his goldfish and another mate thought his house was playing tetris.

Yeah stay away from that shit mate, its dangerous stuff. It can also trigger any underlying mental health issues never mind the long term effects.

Can McDonalds workers fund a weed habit on the minimum wage?

I'm talking about mechanics, brickies, chefs. Some fairly demanding jobs that don't fit in with the "lazy" stereotype. A lot also have families, not that I'm criticising McDonalds workers, although the burgers are shite.

I'd argue that a lot of people who end up with mental health issues due to drugs have either problems with autism(the addictive part in particular) or have mixed drink and drugs together over a long time.

You could argue mate, but you'd be wrong... This is my field bud, all primary and secondary evidence is pointing to the contrary..

I was joking about the burger flippers, obviously.....

I have a mate, nickname 'iron lung', smoked bud since he was 13/14, every day for the last 25 years.. Hes also a multimillionaire and owner of a string of successful businesses.... He falls into a different catchment of smoker in that a connaisseur knows where to shop and what they are consuming.... Sadly, the next generation of smokers haven't a scooby and unfortunately the long term damage in relation to mental illness is a massive concern...

Sounds like the same effects as Evo/LSD..

I smoked it very occasionally in my mid to late teens (16-19), never used to enjoy it that much as i'd either spew due to mixing it with drink OR i'd smoke too much and end up freaking out or just not enjoying it.

I forgot about it for a year or two and then rediscovered it with a vengeance at uni. Eventually my tolerance went up, I could smoke more and more, watch daft films with mates, scoff too much, all that. Then eventually the giggles stopped, I smoked near daily for around 3 years and then eventually I began noticing it was making me dwell on other problems I was having - thinking too heavily about ifs and if nots, becoming paranoid of others and their motives, and being more forgetful at work. I quit in November and havent really been tempted to go back, as I dont want to be dwelling on the past/worrying as much as I was.

TL:DR; didnt smoke long enough as a kid to suffer the alleged impaired memory, but saw first hand how it can amplify emotions. If you're a permanently happy, carefree person then I reckon in moderation its great. But otherwise, has potential to open doors you didnt want to be opened.

Been a regular user for the last 5 years (started late teens/early 20s). Usually take a 1-2 month break in between each bag to just re-evaluate things and bring my tolerance back down. I have a ('respectable') full time job, good social life, go to the gym at least twice a week, surf and rock climb on weekends. I've even bought my first house (that's an achievement in Sydney) which most of my non-stoner mates haven't been able to achieve yet. I smoke it for a treat on the weekends to have a laugh with my mates or sit down and relax and play video games. I absolutely love the feeling of mixing it with some alcohol (don't overdo either otherwise it can make you sick). I never drive high, never smoke during the week and I've never cancelled work or chucked a 'sickie' in my whole life. Basically, used responsibly and in moderation is something I don't see as bad. However, if you let it control your life or start at a young age, then you should think about whether it's worth it.
