First stop get him some eye whitening drops work a treat
I can tell a Stoner a mile off, that sure sounds typicalCan I ask you guys for some advice? A lad I work with has turned up at the office with watery eyes, acting a little bit drunk possibly but with no smell of alcohol. His jokes have been a touch on the loud side and today he asked if I had heard the latest Spurs song. He proceeded to sing a chant with something about Wenger being Adam Johnson's father and something about Jimmy Savile. This effect tends to wear off by about midday.
Is this the effect of drugs? If it is, and it continues, he will lose his job. He's already on a warning.
I've little experience of drugs culture, but I want to counsel the lad if he is jeopardising his job.
Yes he does. He's an ok lad. Is it addictive? If I don't talk to him about it, he could lose his job. When he's like this, he acts as though he thinks he is normal, but everyone can see he isn't.
Great. Thanks for the advice. I'll speak to him on Monday.I'm pretty certain it's weed. Too much of anything is apparently addictive but I'm yet to hear of anyone go house breaking to fund a weed habit. I enjoy a toke, I go through phases where I'll spend over £100 a week for a couple weeks but if I have to save money then I easily stop buying it.
Have a quiet word with the lad on his own and say you think he's coming to work stoned, try and explain how if he's not going to kick the habit completly then he should do it on his days off or when he's finished his work but he needs ample time to make sure it's out his system before he goes out working. Tell him it's just some friendly advice as you don't want him to lose his job.
That sounds more like Salvia from the sounds of it, which is a shady trick if your friends didn't tell you what you were in for. It was still legal in this country last time I checked and I've never seen a Salvia trip video that made me think... "oh that looks like fun"(even when they are laughing they look a bit freaked out about having no control).Started smoking it with a mates about a year ago. After a few times I had what my mates called an "OD" lmao. Blacked out and I have to say it was a terrifying experience. Never again. Although that might have been something a lot stronger than normal weed!
Bill and Ben used to blow a lot of weed
