Meeeeeeeeeee, think i'll go to pub now for a beach bal party
That would only come into play if we were to finish fourth and the team who missed out on a top 4 spot went on to win the CL. In that scenario, the CL winner would take precedence over the side finishing fourth. As someone else has already said, the year that the dippers won it, they finished fifth, behind Dipperton. Yet they got back into it the following season, whereas Gollum's mob either dropped into the UEFA cup, or had to play an extra qualifying round (can't remember which now; in any case the rules are now a maximum of four sides from any one Association permitted in the CL). If we finish fourth and one of the top3 win the CL, no problem.bluejue said:dw7 said:yes 4 is the max the rule was changed after liverpool won it and everton came 4th
Thanks for that info - I didn't realise. So best if none of our teams win it just in case....
