Who was at Anfield in 2003

Yes. The wife and I headed up from London and met up with a Liverpool mate (RIP) who was over from Oz with his missus. We were sitting with the Liverpool fans (he had got the tickets) and I went off when the second went in. Credit to the scours fans around me, no issues. City fans were great that day. Nice and vocal from the get go.

The only time I have ever got to Anfield, for the game. I fucking hate the place. Hope we batter the twats on Sunday.

my last visit to anfield, sat in the main stand with the wife, nearly crushed her hand when anelka scored

I was there.blinding save (double-save?) from schmeical ..swp causing havoc...we partied all night afterwards in matthew street..it was obvious we were Blues, but no mither....not that we cared...brilliant day out, starting as usual at ma eggertons at lime street followed by a couple in Dixie deans bar....taxi to near ground few more in places like The Em tree. ...back to Elm tree after, then the delights of matthew street until the laat train back....always very worse for wear in those days....but this day we,d won.couldnt believe it.

Was at the 81 game as a guest of Arrowsmith Holidays.
My only other trip there was a 2-2 draw in December 1991.

Did Quinn score with a towering header that day iirc?
We played well but typical City went 2-1 down and i think scored in the last min.to equalise.......Ward scored a penalty i think, smashing it right footed down thd keepers throat.a very good penalty taker was Mark Ward,he used to hit them like franny lee...and god help any keeper who got in the way!

Sounds about right but I was already pissed from celebrating a nice win on the gees (Carvill's Hill in Welsh National) so the match is something of a blur.
