Who was at Anfield in 2003

Was at the 81 game as a guest of Arrowsmith Holidays.
My only other trip there was a 2-2 draw in December 1991.
That 81 win was so out the blue..boxing day i think.i was gobsmacked when the score came in and couldnt wait to see the highlights.
I understand City fans were under the cosh that day....?

Yes I was there, just walking towards the exit when Anelka scored absolutely great mayhem all around

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/7885839.stm - my first visit to Anfield, Liverpool equaliser in the 78th minute. That surely must be the closest we've come to winning there in recent (ish) times?
Will never forget that match.City played very well under Mark Hughes...stevie ireland was in the groove..keeping Elano out of the first team........
Hughes had set up with a tough ,uncompromising midfield of zab, vinny and de jong(remember him..?) Ireland was clearly the no.10...looking to feed robby in...it was a very close match.great atmosphere. A sell out...so much so that i think liverpool fans had somehow got tickets in the away end....it was a really tense finish...liverpool desperate for the winner after equalising with about ten mins to go....there was injury time being played.both sets of supporters were baying for blood, wanting that winner.liverpool because they needed to catch utd in the title race,City because we,d gone to anfield where we rarely won, with hughes as manager adding a extra touch of spice,...liverpool attacked right at the death...injury time was up,why isnt the ref blowing??! Given saved us.City then began a lighting counter attack, ireland inevitability involved...i shouted out "i bet the ref bloody blows now" sure enough he did just as we looked to be about to score...i looked to my right and there was a couple..bloke with his missus...id never seen before on any city trip...i cud just tell they were reds...how they got tics i,ll never know.but fair play to them for chancing it....and keeping it down.done it loads of times meself up and down the country! Chelsea away in the 80s prob the worse....i digress.

I was there on Boxing Day 1981. Steve Kinsey was a world beater that day - he looked to have a great future. The only other thing I remember was a breathtaking save by Liverpool defender Phil Thompson when he leapt like a salmon to deny Kinsey with Grobbelaar way off his line. (Bond scored from the penalty).
We had at least one goal disallowed too.
Kismet for the League Cup semi-final defeat nearly a year earlier.
It was bloody awful getting away from the ground afterwards though. Our Bullocks coach aquired a cracked window from being hit with a brick.
