I saw the last three home matches of Les McDowell's tenure. That included a 3-0 defeat by Blackpool, a 1-0 win over double holders Spurs,and a 1-1 draw with the Rags after they nicked a late equalizer.
My favourite was the Mercer-Allison combination. Neither of them was that good alone but together they were brilliant.
