Kia Joorabchian told talkSPORT he's heard talk of Gomez/Negredo/Osvaldo/Cardozo replacing Tevez, but no concrete info on who City will sign.

Hedging his bets isn't he.

Is he a Bluemoon ITK?

Don't know much about Cardozo, but when I've seen him he does look a handful with a decent bit of quality, am I wrong ?

Who does he play for please bud?
Benfica. Whatever Kia reckons he has heard will have been from the player's end on this one, I think. He's due to leave Benfica and at 30, I very much doubt we're looking at him.

Benfica and a huge downgrade on Tevez
You must be joking!

But Joorabchian doesn't know anything and says so in his interview.

Whenever I've seen him he looks a big useless lump. Makes Dzeko look nimble and skillful. He's 30 too. If we sign him to replace Tevez, I'll eat my own shit.
I won't really but you get the picture.

Well for me you can't go wrong with Argies, he would have to be early mid twenties so we have resale value, quick, able to score goals, ability to link well with Aguero, , able to track back and defend, able to close opposition players down, maybe an advantage if he had a low centre of gravity, wants to play for us, doesn't mind the weather and ok with fish chips and mushy peas. No idea who fits that description :-)

Lol fair enough mate, you know how these things can go when you only see a player a few times, Sergio was pretty shit every time I saw him at Athletico.

Thought i would stick this on, good read.

Manchester City turn their attention towards Robert Lewandowski after letting Carlos Tevez leave for Juventus

According to reports, Manchester City are set to replace the departed Carlos Tevez by offering Edin Dzeko to Borussia Dortmund in a player plus cash deal for striker Robert Lewandowski.
The striker is in the final year of his contract and Dortmund stand to lose him for nothing if he doesn’t sign a contract extension soon, so City will look to capitalize on this fact. Earlier in the summer, Lewandowski looked set to join Bayern Munich, following teammate Mario Gotze, but since then the Champions League runners-up have categorically stated that the player will not move to Bayern and will remain at the club.
THT Verdict: Man City are clearly in the market for another striker, going by the sale of Tevez and their interest in Edinson Cavani. Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis was quoted a few days back that City weren’t ready to meet Cavani’s boutout clause of €63m, so their interest in Lewandowski makes sense. Contrary to what they’d maintained, if Dortmund are indeed ready to listen to offers, they will ideally put their player on the market and invite bids from the likes of Real Madrid and Chelsea, the other clubs also on a lookout for a world-class striker. Gonzalo Higuan will leave Madrid in all likelihood, so the Spanish giants are expected to sign one of Cavani, Suarez or Lewandowski.
