Our scouting system will only be proven once the season has ended....
If whoever they buy has better performance and stats then Cavani, Gomez and Lewandowski then great.
If not, and i suspect if we dont get Messi, Ronaldo or Van Persie they wont, then what you said is just you being bored of hearing the same names.
These name are around because they are the best available strikers. Thats who we should be going for isnt it?
I'd be surprised if one of those names above isn't on our players list next year.

Of any striker I'd want Benzema or Lewandowski. I doubt we'd get either but they'd be we'll ahead of Cavani - who is good but very overrated and very overpriced - on my shopping list.

Don't forget; WE HAVE AGÜERO! Do we need someone of this level that is being talked about? Why not stick Benteke in the squad, have Kun as first choice and have Beneteke Guidetti and Džeko battling out for starts in other games or coming off the bench to change the game.

I'd rather have Agüero as first choice than Cavani.

Last season we struggled in front of goal, therefore we need to upgrade our strikers not downgrade, so yes we do need someone of that level, especially if we want to compete in the chumps league as well as the prem
