Herbert's just gone with the comments made by Kia to Talkshite earlier.

Villa is 32 soon and hasn't looked the same since his broken leg... don't understand the clamor personally, screams of one last pay day for a guy past his best.

+1

Or Torres

& defo not the scouse granny shagger

I don't know who we will end up with - if anyone!

I think it'll be Negredo. Gut feeling, nothing more.

Hoping it's not Villa, who has not been the same player since his broken leg/move to Barcelona.

Higuain

Don't think he gets the credit he deserves. 106 in 188 league games for madrid and 39 assists too. Also 20 in 32 for argentina plus 9 assists. That kind of record speaks for itself. Plus madrid could cut us a deal after the broke this supposed 'non-agression pact'. Pelligrini has worked with him before as well. Everything sounds positive. Shame we've not really been linked with him.

I'd take him ahead of Gomez any day.

Higuian is pretty much nailed on to go Arsenal.

I don't want Gomez if we are keeping Edin, our football just would suit having two big target men.

I would prefer us to go or a more complete footballer, Edin should be our only target man.
