Who would you like us to sign and sell in the summer?

I'd say Kolarov's a better defender than him.

I wouldn't agree, I think Kolarov is a very poor defender with woeful positioning who has only been kept so long because of his (patchy) attacking ability and doesn't justify the wages he gets. I also think Mancini has lost a lot of faith in him as he used to rotate the left-backs a lot more. But even so, it's good to have a backup to Clichy (who is one of the best defensive left-backs) with some attacking ability just not one who probably earns MORE than Clichy (when Kolarov was linked with Inter last summer, an Inter rep said he was earning £105,000/week at City which is ridiculous and made any deal impossible)! It sounds like United are slight favourites to get him but the report said we've been in contact with his agent and so have Real. An ideal Kolarov replacement as part of our wage reduction attempts IMO. Digne has far more upside but just signed a new contract with Lille so might not be available.
 
Luke Shaw would be a good back up for Clichy I think. Great potential too from the little I've seen of him.
 
Yeah, Luke Shaw is another great prospect like Digne. But for his sake playing weekly football might be better for him, I'm not sure Mancini would play a 17-year-old that often.

they do that just to high his buy-out clause and take more money when they will sell him...if we will offer 10-15m in the summer for him will be very hard to impossible for Lille to say no..

Been very impressed with what I've seen from the lad. He reminds me of Jordi Alba, only not quite as fast and not quite the same engine. Then again; no one does.
thing is though, Shaw is a Chelsea fan and they will surely be interested in a British left back prospect, seeing as Cole won't have many more years in him.
 
Nagotomo would be a nice signing, fits the LB/LWB role. Similar to Clichy in that he is not a fantastic attacker or a Maldini at defending but puts in a shift and has PACCEEEE!!!! and isn't terrible going forward or defending either.

Wouldn't be on massive wages and has commercial benefits as well.
 
Not stellar names but I have been impressed with both Neil Taylor and Ben Davies.

buy him and loan him back for 2 seasons.
