Who's been married the longest and what's the secret?

24 years tomorrow... My parents divorced when I was around 8, I'm 50 now

I was determined I'd not do the same to my kids

Plus for 99% of the time me and the missus get on.....

We've had to work at it sometimes but I'd say it's been a success

23 years tomorrow. Looking forward to the next 23 years.

Ok some people meet the right one and some don't. My mam and dad loved each other for 50 years til my dad died last year. They just needed each other and very rarely had a crossed word.

I was married for 2 years, too young. Then married for 16 years but we just ended up as mates, I then had a 7 yr relationship that ended badly .

What do you guys/girls think is the secret to a long and happy relationship?

Married again which lasted about 15yrs,that ended very badly and i won't be doing it again.I really wanted to be married once for life but wasn't to be.I love seeing old couples arm in arm on the seafront

31 yrs married together 33 we are definitely opposites that attract . The one thing we have never rowed about is money like some of our friends . We did row about the children when they were teenagers though . He said I was too soft but he was worse lol .
