Whos better.... C. Ronaldo or Messi?

Messi also has over a goal a game. He has nearly twice as many assists as Ronaldo aswell.

Messi is the better player.

The point is though, if you asked every PL manager if they could have either player, all but Arsene Wenger would choose Ronaldo.

I have no doubt Messi is better to watch and has better technique. But Ronaldo would be more effective than Messi in 99% of situations, Messi is a player that you can have once the whole team is built that completes it. You can build the team around Ronaldo and rely on him.

Now I am not saying Ronaldo is better but I am very angered by this idea that Messi is by far better than Ronaldo and is the best player of all time (he is nowhere near). At worst they are on the same level. But it all depends on your definition of best.

Most managers in the Premier League probably would choose Ronaldo, but not necessary because they think he's better or more "effective" as you're saying, but because he's proven in this league.
