already done mate, just not received vaccine, so much for a consistent roll out

Doubt we will get much consistency to the roll out for a week or so. Oxford / AZ saying 2 mill a week by mid January so would expect everything in place over the next week and problems ironed out we should see the consistency improve.

My mother (89) phoned her GP and of course it's an answer phone, anyway the first bit of the message was that if you are calling about the vaccine piss off and wait your turn. I was paraphrasing a bit there but you get the message.

My Dad 87 heart bypass and kidney issues has his for next Saturday Mum 84 who took the call asked about hers and was told this practice first cut is 85+ with issues. Mother in law 81 severe COPD has heard nothing. Daughter A and E was due to have hers last Thurs at work but was cancelled at last min as they were running 2 hours behind. Given the change in interval would assume if you don't get it in next 12 weeks likely to be waiting another 12 whilst first wave get their second dose unless there is a capacity increase.

Ditto my Mum. 86, asthmatic and on god knows what medication for her heart condition. And not a murmur from the doctors' surgery.

They’ve been doing the vaccine from my doctors surgery each weekend. My brother’s neighbour got it on the first Saturday.

Little bit concerning to hear three doctors on the radio on Thursday saying they were due to start today, but all three had been told the delivery was now cancelled. Lots of work to tell patients not to turn up as planned this morning!

My dad (85) had it last Monday, one of the first in Stockport to do so. Think it’s linked to a visit to A&E a couple of weeks earlier.

My mum (73) was in a vaccination programme, so there’s a 50/50 chance she has.

So quite fortunate, really.
