Who's that guy?

the only thing that get's me about the people running onto the pitch is when about 2 guys slide into the players, it's too cringe worthy! the players look terrified too, and rightfully so! whenever i watch the match with the post match celebrations i have to fast forward that part lol! in a way i kind of wish people didn't run onto the pitch so i could have watched the players and staff go nuts...

saying that though, the fans didn't choose to run onto the pitch, it was fate, it was going to happen wether we liked it or not. it was basically 44 years worth of pure emotion spilling onto the pitch

I normally look at people who run on the pitch and think what nob heads. That being said, last game of the season i legged it straight over and fell flat on my face (the grass is bloody wet), got back up and carried on to celebrate with the rest of the fans. Just couldnt help it, the emotion was too much. When that final whistle went it just felt like the biggest weight ever had been lifted and for 15/20 minutes i felt untouchable. Sad as it may sound, the best day in my life, without doubt.

Bollocks to the players and staff. They had their moments. This one was for us, the ones who had been waiting all of our lives.

A pitch invasion was entirely apt. It probably held off the cheesemaster on the fucking PA starting his daft little disco for ten minutes too.

This exactly, that victory was for us more than anyone, we've been there and will still be there when this set of players, managers etc are long gone. The weight and emotion of how we won it was immense, I don't think it would have happened if we'd have cruised it 6-0, but the ending and the tension deserved that invasion, no harm was done and everyone left with out incident and memories that will last a lifetime.

In a way I think it would have being great to see the players and staff run onto the pitch and celebrate, tears and all, but I think the pitch invasion was perfect even though a few of the players looked like they were about to shit a brick, notably Clichy!

At the final whistle when the QPR Chairman Fernandes and our Chairman Khaldoon are congratulating each other, there are two suited fellas with City ties on behind him. Both seem totally pissed off that we have won the league and are showing no emotion what so ever. One I think is Marwood, anyone know who the other one is.

I recognised the guy too when I was watching the DVD I saw him celebrating one of our many goals at the swamp, cant remember which one :P
Just seen it on Sky it's the 6th one, he's bang in the middle of the screen.

The black guy is funny as you can see him barge his way through to stick his face in the camera, whereas everyone else is trying to get to the players.

There's one shot early in the pitch invasion where a guy wearing a white tee-shirt or jacket slides into the players like a De Jong tackle. Could have broken someone's leg.

The pitch invasion was awesome. It just summed up the emotion and what it meant to us. The dickheads who went on after Edin scored on the other hand want shooting. Seconds left and some plonkers are wasting time.

I appear behind this guy look out for me haha. Was one of the first on the pitch and I nearly shattered my knee off the floor before getting on.

-- Fri Jul 20, 2012 11:13 pm --

That's the man! I've got the 1-6 on my iPod and you can see him on there going mental after the 6th, wearing the same retro shirt if I'm not mistaken.
I noticed that the other day. He has a green puma? jacket on though instead of this blue one!

Hahahah thats me on the far left!

I watched that the other day and saw him. Next to him seems to be a group of italian looking guys, one of whom looks like Mancini's son?

Fair play to everyone who went on the pitch. Like there was ever any possibility of us not receiving the PL trophy due to fans excessive celebrations!
I'd been saying in the build up to the game that we were getting on the pitch regardless but the way it ended meant I was still in a state of shock and missed my chance!

Watched the DVD again the other night and clocked the tracky guy at the sick swan as well as his moment of glory on the pitch. Also love the fan who slipped on his arse and ends up sliding into the players.

As for that miserable bald **** behind the chairman. Whoever he is, he should be fired. I'm not naive enough to think any of these guys actually support the club but when you're in a paid position you should at least fake it, especially when winning a trophy. I mean it's not hard to clap and smile at the same time is it?

I know its a bit picky, but it annoys me everytime i see the crowd run on the pitch at the final whistle. I would have loved to see the celebration from the players on the pitch and them not to run off to escape the masses. Anyone else feel like that?
Yes lets all be british and not show our emotions, `clap ones hands and wave one cap`. Just let yourself go.

I think the blue one is a Fila jacket.

I remember thinking, that fella has style.
...Green one were also Fila at the swamp all laced wit matchin Adidas München sneakers ;-)

Sorry if this has been discussed before (or if I'm blind) but I didn't want to start a new thread and this kind of links in to topic;

But at around 1:25 in the Director's Cut of the 6-1, is Luca Scapuzzi at the front of the crowd?

Looking at it, I think he's stood next to that black guy
