Brian Horton was a very good manager for us
Sven Goran Eriksson was a very good manager for us .
To me these two managers should never have been sacked .
Both managers bought well in the transfer market .
Eriksson was like a miracle worker how he got his transfers in quick time .
Always liked Tony Book even though he's been a caretaker manager since i supported City in the early 80s .
Those three are probably my favourite managers .
Also liked Joe Royle and I'm glad he resurrected us from the dead .
Overall favourite has to be Brian Horton, genuinely top bloke, when I also think of what City mean to me it's the 80's and 90's closest to my heart.
Mancini is my cult figure manager he changed the club , Keegan brought us astonishing football too. Trouble is there was just something that I didn't like or relate to in those two, their ego maybe but Horton on and off the pitch a class act.
I would love to remember Mercer so I could comment
