Why after today has Mancini lost the fans?

I understand some of the fitness thing but his ability to defend also seems to have gone.
Hes standing off players too easily and not closing the space down when he has time to.
Would like him to come good but seems he needs a bit of bite in him.
Can't argue with that, I always new about that side of his game. He's a strong-ish tackler and no-nonsense kind of guy but he really isn't that sharp and prefers to stand off rather than risk getting beat, too much so.

Isn't it odd tho, we always seem to concede from the crosses that come in from Micah's side?

I'm just fed up with the 'Garrido and Bridge were better' bollocks. Kolarov has already scored more than Garrido, a player so weak that Chelsea scored 5 goals simply by targetting his lack of positional sense and physical incapability. Bridge could make a meal out of even the simplest clearance, lost the ball by running under it or not simply not watching it at all more than any player I've ever seen, and in two years managed a grand total of zero succesful crosses.

Usual defeatist, knee jerk sh*te.

The fans weren't happy under Hughes because he played attacking free-flowing football and we were poor at defending.

Now we look rock solid, probably only lost today due to tired legs and minds in the last 15 minutes and therefore Mancinin should go.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. What the City fans are saying is I want us to play like Barcelona, well, guess what we're not Barcelona.

We're two years into our development so yeh we are still behind the likes of Chelsea and the Rags who've been doing it year on year on year.

Its the impatience from our fans that's the problem, not Mancini.
Good point, well made. Anyone who thinks a manger can arrive and win everything straight away knows SFA about football. Anyone who thinks an Italian manager is going to play balls to the wall football also knows f**k all.
Goals may win games but titles and trophies are won on defence. What have we achieved by swapping managrs at a whim? We need stability and consistency if we are going to get anywhere near the likes of the filth, CSKA Fulham and the Arse.
