Why are there NO openly Gay Footballers?

An often overlooked problem from the Media, FA and other Orgs is the career prospect of Footballers.
if a player came out tomorrow I sense his earning potential would fall, with companies such as Sportswear brands shying away from the gay player.

I mean lets say Aguero came out tomorrow (yes I know he has kids/wife etc) would you feel comfortable in wearing Puma clothing?

There are many insecure young males out there who buy brands like Puma who would stop buying Puma as they would be ridiculed at School and wherever as they would be wearing that clothing brand worn by that gay player...

I couldn't give a monkeys about who's gay but Football is just a reflection of Society. Society needs to change more, then the game will.

You have to be careful. One gay footballer wearing their boots and the next thing you know they would be making you sign a contract upon purchase stating that it is compulsory at all time to wear them with a Puma endorsed pair of arse-less leather chaps.

I don't wear anything by Calvin Klien or Freddie Flintoff's range at Jacamo for similar reasons.
