Why buy sinclair?

Lets judge him when he has had a good run of games as and when that time comes there was a few clubs interested in him so he must have something

Has he done anything to deserve a run of games in the team? I know Adam Johnson wanted to leave us but Sinclair isn't even a like for like replacement. Johnson could come on and score goals or run at tired defenders perfectly and he had less Premiership experience. Sinclair doesn't even seem to be able to do that. The two sitters he missed when we demolished Villa were shocking.

He'll be gone in the summer but I feel a loan spell somewhere could be a final throw of the dice to rejuvinate his City career.

I'd be prepared to to trade Sinclair back to Swansea for either Michu or Ashley Williams, as he has no future at City for whatever reason. The lad is too good to be warming our bench.

I think we'd need to trade Silva in to get Michu or Williams from them.

Swansea is famous for exporting copper, and they ain't mined or exported enough to the value of our Silva . ; )

He's not good enough to warrant a run of games and even if he had a run of games it wouldn't make any difference because he's shit. We can't afford to have him in the team because he is such a poor player so Mancini keeps him out of it. His football brain is abysmal. Technically he is diabolical. He is mentally weak. He is nothing more than many other distinctly average English wingers who have little more to their game than booting it down the line and running as fast as they can after it before whacking it over the bar with an attempted cross. He doesn't fit into this team. He will never fit into this team. He's fairly quick but that is useless because he simply isn't anywhere near the standard required to offer anything to us. Needs binning ASAP. Complete and utter waste of time, effort and money

Would have been wiser to sell AJ and not buy anyone to replace him. Same with Maicon, completely unnecessary. Would have kept the wage bill far healthier as well.

Is correct.

I agree about Maicon but Sinclair is the only experienced winger in the squad and potentially offers something different. If his wages are extortionate then we might have difficulty offloading him. He's effectively being paid big money and do little more but sit there before going home to Helen Flanagan.

going out of the league cup fucked his first team chances right up.

yep and even more so by not qualifying for europa league.

also, if we were still in the champions league he would probably have played more of a part in the fa cup than he did against watford, and in any future rounds. it's a shame really as there's a few players I'd like to see more of this season but we can't afford to give fringe players much of a chance now
