Ill be honest, I wrote most responses from my phone and to put together a well worded argument takes a little while so in that aspect I am lazy!
Scott Sinclair is a talented individual, he scored 28 goals from 82 appearances for Swansea, where as Nani has scored 25 goals in over 130 apps! If you ask Rag fans they will tell you Nani is the 'best winger in the world', so in that respect Sinclair is hardly shit or abysmal! Don't forget most of these goals where against the same opposition, the same prem teams, that we play against!
How much shit have we put up with Mario making mistakes and not pulling his weight, yet we still defend him week in week out. Sinclair is also a talented young city player and think he deserves more backing from us. He needs more game time I agree, and we are at an important time of the season where we can't afford to make mistakes, but he is such a decent prospect to just give up on him!
Scoring goals doesn't mean you can make that step up. City have a team full of players that can score goals so Sinclair isn't expected to score anywhere near that many. Besides, he had one season in the Premiership with Swansea. Adjust the stats and come back to me. Balotelli isn't a great comparison here. For what it's worth, I don't actually defend him. I support the Lad because he's in a Blue shirt but you won't find me grieving when he leaves the Club.
Sinclair came in as a like for like replacement for Adam Johnson and, despite AJ wanting out, I'd rather have him in the side over Sinclair.
