1. We are one-dimensional - we have to play though teams as we have no striker to hold up play. Teams now know that and we are easy to defend.
2. We have a team that is worse than the sum of its parts and we have no striker to hold up play.
3. We have a wafer-thin defence that is constantly under pressure due to having no striker to hold up play.
4. We revert to route-one which makes no sense as we have no striker to hold up play.
5. There is no pace in the team - we have pacey individuals, but no pace in the team and have no striker to hold up play.
6. We play too narrow - as we have no striker there is no point putting crosses in so we always come inside.
7. The lack of the striker puts pressure on all the other positions and therefore players are starting to lose confidence - Micah, Robbie etc
8. This lack of confidence spreads like wildfire and Hughes doesn have the tools to stop it. (Same thing happend at Chelski)
Hughes knows this but his obsession with RSC led us to fail to bring in a striker and it will be his undoing. Pride comes before a fall and both him and BFS will be prime examples of this.
the best post on here by a country mile.
someone who knows the game.
