At a time when the UK government has spent money left right and centre to prop up our poorly managed financial institutions (and ultimately the economy) it is fair to say that the money provided by City's owners, which will yield the government £millions through the taxation of the players high salaries etc., must be welcomed with open arms by the Chancellor.
Let's face it, City are keeping the country going!!
