Why did I let this rag bother me?

Bury fan here! Just wanted to congratulate you on the most amazing league win ever, it will never be forgotten. I was dying for you to win and when it looked like it was slipping away I was absolutely gutted I'd have to watch United lift the trophy again in front of a Blasé, mediocre celebration. Then that incredible 5 minutes and the pure emotion that came with it was a complete and utter joy to watch, it was a victory for every real football fan up and down the country.

I was at Main Rd for probably one of your lowest moments, when we beat you 1-0 the season you were relegated to the 3rd tier. It's up there as one of my high points of watching the Shakers but I remember how distraught your fans were at the time. Your club was in a mess but your fans stuck with them and you came back stronger and the rest is history. Fans who have seen those lows appreciate the highs so much more, it makes the good time so much sweeter and nothing came across more in those celebrations on Sunday. You could quite literally see all the pain drown in a sea of pure ecstasy. I don't think the modern United fan will ever feel what you felt on Sunday, they just don't understand.

I do know some decent United fans but can't believe the bitterness I’ve read over the last few days from the majority. The stuff they've been spouting about you buying the title is laughable. United has rode the crest of "the premier league world domination" wave since it was formed, pimping itself out around Asia, The Middle east, Africa. Selling their soul for a brand, creating an Impenetrable gulf. Then they moan when some rich Arab sits up and takes notice. They helped create the global monster that is the premier league and they need to learn to live with the consequences. In my opinion the money has evened things up and created a much more exciting league. United fans need to get used to losing and losing gracefully.

anyway guys, massive CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Nice post :)

I know a few dedicated shakers but tbh they are few and far between with many also Rags... When Bury are successful (such as the promotion parade) they are wearing Bury shirts and so on... For most of the season they walk around wearing Utd shirts... The amount of plastic Rags in Bury is unreal.

Like somebody posted earlier, this guy could end up the next Raul Moat. He clearly lives a low existence; his only interaction with people is as an attention seeking whore who posts his life on youtube.

No wonder he became a gloryhunter as a kid, wanting to join the big gang rather than be an individual, and a sad, lonely individual at that. Probably the same reason he goes to Westlife meet and greets as its his only way to be close to the opposite sex.

I would not be surprised if this guy hits the headlines in the next few years as we dominate English football and he loses it big time!!!

Another of his videos. Does this show his real name?!? He's shit at Football Manager as well as being a ****.

Good spot.

Can't find his facebook, though.

Come on, own up! This video has been made as a wind up by a City fan.

There is NO WAY any self-respecting rag (is there such an animal?) would ever sit in front of a camera and spout such absolute drivel. It bears out everything we've ever said about these sad specimens.

West Country accent.
"I've even been to Old Trafford".
"I'm not a glory hunter".

Come on, who produced this?????? It's brilliantly done, so congratulations!

I'm absolutely sure this 100% genuine as his Youtube has other United material on it. I can see where you are coming from with your suggestion though as this this video is the ultimate in irony

It is unreal the amount of plastic United fans in Bury. Most of them would prefer to watch United in the pub than support the local team. Unfortunately we've been cursed and have to live with it.
