Why didn't you go to the Leipzig game?

I can't believe we've all fallen for all this crap. I go to every game in the league and the cups. Never missed a game but that's MY choice? It's up to everyone else what they do? I personally think Pep was well out of order. Even if the score was 20 nil to us last night, he's lit the flame for the opposition fans! He needs to look after his team and his tactics and keep quiet as far as I'm concerned.

It’s wrong for me. There were not 16000 empty seats last night. 3000 in Leipzig end and I would say perhaps another 6000 scatted around the ground. However I wonder if they have only counted tickets sold. Couple of days ago SS3 had 2000 tickets going and then on the day it’s almost full as far as I could tell. Are they giving a lot away as there were loads of student age match goers last night up there. I would say around where I sit, we were the only regular ST holders out of about 20 faces that I see every week. That’s not unusual though in the CL.
or the ticket office got it wrong and it was 48,062 rather than 38,062.

What get‘s me about Pep’s comments is that he probably hasn’t paid to get into a match for years . He has no right questioning any City supporter, the same supporters who will be here long after he leaves.
He doesn't. You should see what he actually says rather than what you think he says.

Mainly because I live 4,046 miles away from the stadium, but never miss a game live on TV here.
I will make up for it when i am over in December, taking in the Villa and Watford games and a slight chance i will got to Leipzig, but i am flying back the next morning, so that might be a stretch. But, never say never!

I genuinely couldn't be arsed. Its a ballache getting to and from the stadium and id much rather watch it on the box than have the mither of getting home close to midnight on a school night.

Unless @worsleyweb invites me in the Tunnel Club (ooohhhh errr) i'm more than content to be mostly an armchair these days.

with pleasure mate I will give you a shout

As per usual no one seems to be able to think for themselves. Let's maybe find out what Pep said, and maybe let's question whether the attendance stat actually accords with what you think.

That's me in a nutshell, and I don't even have footy on tv
Radio Manchester and BM match thread for me.

I was thinking, last night was possibly the first competitive City home game I haven't bought a ticket for in over 30 years.

I'm a SS3 ST holder. And more times than not get relocated to level 1 (which is not for me) for cup games. Pre Covid, we missed 20 mins of two cup games due to ticket relocation not being recognised and having to go to the ticket office. Then all the crap going on with tickets at the moment, doesn't fill me with confidence. I have not subscribed to any cup schemes and will only pick and choose games that cost, timing, family, seat location weather and opposition suites me.
Ps. And if you put a game on Friday night, sorry Pep, but I'll be in the pub as normal.

After working all day I'm not prepared to brave the M6/M62/M602 to try and get to Manchester, park and then queue to get in all in time for kick off with the prospect of a late return home and getting up for work the next day. Price wasn't a factor. Time, effort and inconvenience were.

All he does is invite fans to come to the game against Southampton because the team will need them.
