Back to football and i read that Englands tickets are under subscribed, and that Germany has only sold 3000. Ticket sales are going very slowly, however i would expect a late surge in tickets when it draws nearer.
I for one will be heading, but unlike the OP i will not be taking kids. After speaking to many South Africans on my travels over the last month they said it will be fine and you just have to do your research about where not to go, and have your wits about you.
Of coarse, every event and country has a chance of violence and terrorism but don't read everything you read in the papers. They use blatent scare tactics to sell papers, when in reality if you have the right info and right mentality, you'll be fine.
I refuse to get involved in the politic side of things.
Hope some of you make it to SA in the World cup, we should catch up for a beer
