Why do you go?

I'm currently going because i'm from Sydney and for years i've just dreamt of actually attending fixtures week by week. So i'm sorry if u see me with my camera out but it's prob only one of the times ill ever get to see my beloved blues.
I went to the liverpool game and was abit defo not to see a goal scored but went to the game at stamford bridge and that was amazing in its own right.
Love this club, love the fans, love everything.

And we love you son.

Its an escape in a way, a day you can eat shit food, scream your nuts off and forget the daily grind. Its also the look forward you get all week before the game, and the banter back in work with the rags and dippers etc. I was working for the dippers game so its seems like forever since i last saw my seat. Roll on this time next week

Because the manager of our Asylum is a blue and makes us go on the fun bus, wether we like it, or not. If the bus ever brakes down, 111 will be empty. :)(:

For those that do on here, why?

I know it seems a bit of a strange question but I bet people have different reasons to go. Also, my reasons to go to away games seem different to a lot of people on here, otherwise the atmosphere would be better!

I go to home games as its a good routine with my dad and uncle and we have a good laugh. Plus I love going to the ground.

I go to away games because I love to be in the minority in the ground in a town I'm not familiar with. I love to sing and get behind the team as much as possible. I love not expecting anything and hopefully getting something. I love to be drinking and having a good laugh with my City mates.

Thats pretty much it for me too ,although I attend with my son. Also I just enjoy being with City fans.

This just about sums it up. Lifes just to serious

Because what's the point of shouting and singing at the telly? It makes you feel like you're making a little contribution to what's going on on the pitch.

I know mate, it is indeed, if you let it be anyway. Fuk em. O I, there is a spare seat on the said bus as after the away cc tie this lad has cmpletely gone, he walks around dressed as a Ferrit shouting, 'feed me Liver and Jiblets'.

-- Thu Mar 18, 2010 3:30 pm --

Sitting in COMS 5 mins before kick-off – that’s my happy place.
Sitting in COMS just after the match has finished can be my happy, despondent, ecstatic but never my apathetic place.
Nothing stirs the emotions more than a City game.
