Uncle took me to Rags v Bournemouth at the Swamp in the late 80's, think it was the FA Cup. It was either a draw, or Bournemouth won 3-2. Anyhoo, got home and told my Mum I wasn't Supporting them and to get me a City Kit. The rest is history.

City v Bournmouth was about the eighth City game I went to as a kid. We were 3-0 up at half time and going up to Div1; we drew 3-3. Ian Bishop got motm playing for Bournmouth. That performance made us sign him that summer and he played so well in the 5-1 derby.

In my early days i didn't take much notice until my mates dad took me and my mate to a game in 1978. The uncovered part of the kippax by the north stand. Once you go there is no going back.

Because City is a way of life......................A religion if you like
