i take drugs because i enjoy them. simple as that. my life would be more boring without them. and cheers to my dad for bringing me up right to understand the truth and the bullshit about drugs.

My lad said this to me.I was quite proud and it seems to be bearing fruit but then he can still remember where we lived in Dublin surrouded by junkies and generally if you lose someone close when you are young it gives that fear of certain drugs.

and you should have a fear of certain drugs, exactly what he taught me. as for yer lad, that's class mate. I've got a three year old, and i hope one day i can say the same about how i approach it with her

When she is of age jon it might well be legal to skin up and it might be easier.I never smoked around the kids till they were well into their teens and even then not in front of them but at BBQ's and such they saw.I don't ever see myself sitting down a toking with them though.

Not for me either. Have experimented widely and extensively but found that I'm far more inclined and suited to boring old alcohol.

Am I the only one here that thinks alchohol is a drug? When people talk about gateway drugs this is the numero uno no?

i never had a smoke with my dad, but that was cos he'd stopped when he was younger. he had no problem with me, or my mates, having a smoke when he was around. he was enjoying his whiskey, i was enjoying a few cans and a spliff, with my dad. happy days lad.
as for those saying they've never tried anything, and anyone who has is an idiot... well, you ain't speaking from a position of experience, so you don't actually know what yer talking about. blunt, but also true

Alcohol is a horrific drug. State sponsored soporific that keeps the masses in check. If it had only been discovered last week they'd have class A'd it straight away.

That said, it is the one for me, sadly.
