Watching a team who earn an absolute fortune, being told before the game how they play for us, a manager with no clue or direction, 4th in a league below Leicester and Spurs, pissing West Ham and the worst United team of my lifetime right on our heels. It's not being spoilt it's drastically underperforming all things considered.

It is the op is indeed a top top blue, the biggest and bestest blue of all time, I stopped reading after the win every game point which was beyond laughable but it regularly gets an airing from the window lickers.

lets be honest we were a load of moaning twats when we were shit, the myth about how we all banded together and joked our way through the 80's -00's is bollocks we went in numbers to support the team but we gave the team plenty of shite all the time. The difference is, if we were subjected to the abject performances of the last 8 months then we were much more accepting of it as we knew the team was at that level.
I like winning stuff but if we never won a pot again it wouldn't stop my love of city, all I ask is for us to be entertaining and give it our best and recently we haven't even managed that

All this spineless capitulation and careless players rings hollow to me. We're playing very poorly, but I don't think it's lack of effort. The team has become dysfunctional. Players like Aguero were trying too hard. Becoming winger, midfielder and centre-forward.
We need to change a couple of faces. maybe the answer is on the playing staff, or maybe we have to go into the transfer market but I think it's only one or two positions where we have a problem.
Pellegrini has taken a lot of stick and I have been very critical but he's going. I think the best thing we can do is turn up and support the team and hope for the best. Sounds pathetic but that is our lot.

As for support, of course - it might fit well with those who portray anyone who moans on here as a lesser supporter, but I assure you that once they cross that line we're fully behind them.

I can't agree that its only Yaya and Bony not putting the effort in. Usually when discussing "effort" we think of how the team works without the ball. We have not done that well enough over the past eighteen months but in my opinion we are seeing laziness offensively as well. You would rarely see any unselfish runs to draw a defender away from their position to create space. All they seem interesting in doing is casually getting the ball into our attacking third and probe around areas in front of their box hoping something might happen. There is rarely any willingness to counter effectively and most of our attacks end up with Navas half getting past his opponent and putting a shit cross in. We are so predictable and that is down to laziness in my opinion, not just because of low confidence or bad tactics or whatever.
I agree Pellegrini is tactically inept and I'm certainly not about to defend him because his management particularly this year is not acceptable. I don't agree he should get the bulk of the criticism though. Too many of our current players exude arrogance on the pitch. I don't want to include everyone, I appreciate Kompany Hart etc. do give their all but the body language from some of the others on the pitch at times is a disgrace. Its like each one of them is hoping someone else is going to lift the performance. Tactics and management have played a big part in our poor performances this year but no one can convince me that there are not serious mentality issues in our current squad of players
