Why does MH keep bringing up the past?

Bringing up the past is convenient as we were very shit in the past and therefore even the poorer results we got nowadays will look good compared to our past.

Had we beaten Liverpool it would have been 'exactly what we intended to do, proof of where we are and how far we've come' however a draw, still a decent point in my eyes, can be defended by pointing out that under Ball they put shit loads past us.

In fairness under Ball pretty much everyone put shits loads past us...

Paul if your really not happy with the team, manager ect then go support another team, seriously all the threads I've read from you are so negative its beyond belief

Oh why didn't i think of that...

After 35 years supporting City i will just switch now. Get a grip fool.

or you could always try to fight for the right thing to be done in order to improve the team you support.
even if it upsets some of the self rightous back the manager even if he is fucking useless brigade

The way we are playing is so negative its beyond belief.
6 points from a possible 18 is beyond belief.
18 fuckin months and he still wants time for this team to gel, is beyond belief.
£200 million on a team that can't defend a lead for 30 seconds is way beyond belief.
The amount of supporters who will settle for this mediocrity is beyond belief.

I hear what your saying mate but 'go support another team'?
I pray, I really do pray we beat Hull this saturday
But if we couldn't beat Burnley, so I don't hold out that much hope.
But support another team? how does that work?

I don't believe it!

What it boils down to is this.

Currently we are doing very well indeed considering we are MANCHESTER CITY. It'd be hard to do much worse at times but fair is fair, this team is achieving much more than the teams I grew up with.

However, the problem comes when we compare ourselves to other clubs and also take into account all the talk coming from the club re our plans and hopes for the future.

6 draws in a row is great compared to 12 losses or whatever it was Alan Ball gave us in his first season so I congratulate Hughes on that however I take issue with always comparing this team to the teams of old as at least the teams of old had the decency to not make promises they couldn't keep.

So yeah, we're doing well compared to shit teams of the past but compared to where we want to be we're stalling at best.

Another negative post,
Wouldnt be so bad if you then added something pro-active and posetive, And wainting till January to sign players is not the answer either.
If you think theres a problem then at least make an effort to try and provide a cure.

You seem to have glossed over the facts that over 200m has been spent on the team in the last 12 months alone. 6 draws is the same points as 4 loses.

I was trying to not be too negative mate which is why I didn't mention the money spent or the players we currently have compared to the players we've had in the past. I was trying to be as unbiased as possible, for myself more than anything, in order to see what the problem was if you get me?

I'm far from happy at how this season has gone but I don't think all hope is lost, yet.

As I said, compared to other City teams I've watched we're doing well (that doesn't take much though) but compared to the teams we think we're competing with (Chelsea, Rags etc) we're doing shit.

I fully agree - fuck all that Anfield was a good result bollocks

We fucked it up again

If people are just going to go on about how much an mprovement it is then we are fucked

Too many people are happy with the shit wanky football that we are churning out every week - We look like a pack of fools

Premiership top 4?? Do me a favour we look like a cobbled together championship team

if were not winning im fucked off because I have a einning mentality not a 'at least were not in a relegation battle' mentality
