Why have City asked Noel Gallagher to design a kit?

No. I think you misunderstand what I am saying. City knew ahead of time Oasis was getting back together. The Noel designed shirt was just to give people a reason, other than the hard core Oasis fans, to talk about him, and by extension Oasis, for a few months before Noel and Liam's announcement.

The actual kit itself has fuck all to do with it. This time you were not paying and using your reading comprehensive the first time. And don't get all arsey. You were a bit of a dick in your reply quoted up top.

I wasn't trying to be a dick but it's an utterly ridiculous point. Haven't you seen the press for the last three weeks? Oasis don't need a leg up when it comes to publicity. And if they did this wouldn't be it. Nobody talked about this new kit apart from a few dozen City fans on this forum.

It isn't a ridiculous point. I still contend you aren't understanding my original point. What do you mean nobody talked about it? The club advertised this kit being designed by him. Maybe they Oasis doesn't need anything like that to you but to some people it gets them thinking about Oasis again a few months before the announcement.

And I am not saying this was 100% why it was done. I am saying I do those there is a small chance it is why. Think beyond you and your friends and neighbors as to why things could happen. It may not have been done to manipulate people like yourself who maybe is a huge Oasis fan.
