Good post BTH, and I agree with all of it.

I was 19, and travelled the full length of the British Isles by train and coach, 2 full days, and over 650 miles each way (by road according to google - more by train).

Typical City, we bloody draw, so I had to return back to work, and knew I couldn't possibly get back for the replay.

I hated Spurs before that, having been on the end of their supporters at MR when about 15-16, but I've hated them ever since.

Like you a win on Wednesday night will go some way to erasing that final fro the memory, but I'll never get over a hatred for their fans, and as a result of the fans, their club.
