Why I love Manchester City

Not the sort of person you'd generally like to be seen with by your friends, I guess. I do empathise with your discomfort.

I am an old git and I can't remember...............yes I do,I was 8 years old and even then I detested the filth and their fans here in Ragland,I was the only city boy in a school of 400 boys, and funny enough where I work now there are 500 people in the building and guess who is the only city fan ? So you see over here we city fans are a pretty exclusive club.when you fall in love at 8 years of age you just don't let go.Fuck I love city, even though like all love affairs we have our up's and downs, and it was all those downs that make the affair so much sweeter now.

Because as a very young scallywag growing up in Salford it annoyed the local rags like fuck, cost me my two front teeth and scars on my lips in later life but annoying them twats it was and always will be worth it

As a new arrival in Manchester 25 years ago with a rugby background, I had no immediate loyalties... but within months of settling here , it was quite clear to me that the Rags and their fans were insufferably arrogant and ungracious....

Always sided with City since then.. informally....

My twins were born in 1997.... brought up in Chorlton and chose City ..... not easy back then... some of their classmates at Ossy Road abandoned City....
They had the piss taken.....but hung on in there

both my twins are blue... now only one of them is a match-going fan We always had City as our club and bonded over that ...
