What I took from your post was that, his off filed antica aside, he's a legend. I don't think Tevez was a legend for us on the pitch either.Reread my post
Named our dog after Zaba. Absolutely adore the bloke.Hopefully this latest outburst will make the OP, and all the others who think he deserved a statue, think again. The likes of Zabba* are so, so far ahead of Toure in the "is he worthy of a statue" stakes.
*Plenty others too; Pablo was the first one who sprung to mind
David Silva was betterHe called Pep a racist then retracted it. Also mard arsed about his cake.
2nd only to KDB, he brought us some truly unprecedented territory as a City fan.
Still an legend
Absolutely. It's not even close. Not only was he a better player, but he's never (to my knowledge) badmouthed the club, or any employee thereof. Same can be said of Sergio.David Silva was better
Longevity is the key as well as being great - KDB, Silva, Kompany and Aguero all did 10 years.Where do you stop? If KdB gets one, then Pep gets one and Rodri gets one......Foden obviously when he retires, then Haaland if he stays for a few more years. You won't be able to get into the ground soon.
Then the FOCs will want Trautmann and Bell - both more deserving than Silva.
We’ve got the Lee, Bell and Summerbee statue already @malgLongevity is the key as well as being great - KDB, Silva, Kompany and Aguero all did 10 years.
There is a statue of Trautman and Colin Bell had a stand named after him :)
Nah I don’t think either are. Both exceptional footballers but didn’t have the minerals to be legendsWhat I took from your post was that, his off filed antica aside, he's a legend. I don't think Tevez was a legend for us on the pitch either.
Yaya is a bell end. Exemplified by Joe Hart recently talking about how he could just switch it on or off and only turned up when he fancied it. That’s an ego problem imo and this sort of chat proves it.
Yaya is an absolute legend of this football club and was a top class player. However, he’s not even in our top 5 best midfielders in our modern era for me.David Silva was better
Trautmann already has a statue, not sure where it is these days though!Where do you stop? If KdB gets one, then Pep gets one and Rodri gets one......Foden obviously when he retires, then Haaland if he stays for a few more years. You won't be able to get into the ground soon.

What's he said now?
Think Ferna got a training pitch iirc which seems to be the sub statue award, but Gundo seems to havec been by passed completely. Not heard much recently about KDBs statue, unless I missed itYaya is an absolute legend of this football club and was a top class player. Silva, KDB, Fernandinho, Rodri and Gundogan were all better players than him.
