There's not enough goals in the team. They've scored 26 at home and 18 away and that simply isn't enough to challenge for the top positions. Everton could easily catch them if they win at Villa Park.

Tevez,Bellers,Ade,Kompany,Toure,De Jong,Given,Bridge,Barry,Vieira,nearly a full TEAM.
And what have they got in common and abundance ??
PL Winners,CL Winners,World Cup WINNERS,Played in WC and European Championship International High Profile Games.
Need any more convincing ???
