why no one critic AJ ?

i can't understand

plenty of threads criticising more or less all the players. i can easily recall threads about silva , yaya , balotelli , tevez , milner , barry , lescott .

a few about boateng , kolarov , JO , SWP , etc.

game after game AJ is almost costantly the worst , clueless , hopeless , useless blue player on the pitch , and nobody say a word.

I think its because he's young, English and didn't cost a lot, he's a bit raw and a luxury player IMO but will get there in the end

Because if you look over the past couple of months AJ has been extremely important for us. He may not always play great but he makes things happen. Look at our goals over the past couple of months and I guarantee that AJ has had an input in a lot of them. Hes not perfect and immune to criticism but at least we can see that he has something about him!

why ?

Personally, since Mancini bashed his ego to bits, I think he is starting to get his head round football a bit more. I recall today he lost the ball and he chased it and chased it and chased it and put in a crunching tackle to get it back. He is learning. I think in a year and a half or so he will have developed into a decent footballer but we definitely have to have patience with him. I really thing he is getting better now that Mancini hit him to the ground. He played several good passes today but twice I think the recipient was Vieira who couldn't be fucked to run onto the ball.
