Don`t suppose people will be bothered if they put your season ticket up 50% then?

At the moment selling clubs are chancing their arm to see how much they can milk us for. West Ham are in the financial shite and IMHO I am guessing that they have to sell a couple of their "star" names and high wage earners. If we suddenly paid them £20M plus for Bellamy, this may be going rate plus same again, if we then go for the likes of a Villa or a Kaka, going rate (god knows what), plus same again on top is a hell of a lot of money to fork out.
Also the managerial situation has at the very least questions marks over it, what if we sign Bellamy for £20M, plus big wages and we get a new manager in the summer who does not want him ?
Vey good point we might want to get rid, let’s face it these signings being mentioned would not be entertained by any off the top 4 or a world class manager.andypandy said:Paying proper stupid money sets a dangerous precedent, we will have to pay over the odds due to "City Tax" and our financial situation but that doesn't mean we have to pay £25M or £30M to sign a RSC.

Just because I post something that you don't agree with, I am a new member with not a million posts like yourself, you automatically assume I am a rag.
You need to wind yer neck in kidda and learn to accept that not everyone has the same opinion as you. I was just throwing the question out into the forum.
Id rather us pay stupid money if it gives us a better chance of staying up.

As a fan said in another post if your going to get ripped off at least get ripped off signing a proven class player.

Firwood said:I know there are certain principles at play here but we could be in trouble if we don't bolster our squad so why dont we, for this window only, throw the principles out the window and pay what West Ham want for Bellamy, offer 30 million for Santa Cruz - see how quickly Blackburn change their mind then.
Fuck em that's what I say - we are the muscle now, so we need to show it. Let's pay stupid money, we can afford it.
