Who do you think would be good enough to step in place of Aguero should he be injured/tired?

We sign Cavani, we win the League and have a decent crack at the Champs League imo. If he's too pricey (although his fee and wages are repaid instantly if his goals win us the League), I'm absolutely gobsmacked that we're standing by and watching Higuain sign for Arsenal. My prediction is that Arsenal will have a great season if they do sign him.
Negredo scored 31 goals compared to 19 for Higuain, so Negredo can't be that bad... For the price of Cavani you could sign 3 or 4 players!

Congratulations on spectacularly missing the point I was making ;). One world class stiker >>>>> 3 or 4 players who can do a job.

so a record of 31 goals in 42 apps ain't good enough for you?

IF we win the CL.......which is what the sheik is demanding, then fook FFP, the cash from CL will far outweigh players costs/wages. so stop fannying about city...if you fancy a player, jusy bloody go and get him !!

thats not complaining.observation !!

If a player doesn't want to come to city than how can you make him? No use in constantly ranting on about "just go and buy them". These are human beings not machines. if they don't want to come than no amount of money will force them too. They're must be hundreds of yet to be discovered strikers out there. That's what we got these experts in for.

People are complaining because the owners say they want us to be withBarca and RM etc. but we reease balo and Tevez and look to bring in replacements not as good in most peoples opinion ( time will tell).

Personally i can see exactly why they think this way but the team should come first - lets hope pelli knows what he is doing

We sometimes act as though we've won the lottery and don't know how to handle it. We've gone from having fuck all. If we're not careful we'll end up like that lotto lout bloke! Just chill the fuck out and enjoy the ride folks. It's gonna be a good one!

Why complaining? Maybe because is an inner feeling that something is not kosher, that one thing was said and another thing was done, that players were marked like targets that would have helped reinforce the team, and some forces inside our club opposed the transfer so we lost them to other teams that become stronger as a result, that we bought bad in the last few days of the last window because we lost our main targets, that backstabbing become us, that we lost good players with not clear explanation why, all this starting after we won the title and some people are afraid this modus operandi is still ongoing...

Have a look at this: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/mancini-reveals-three-failed-signings-which-wouldve-won-man-city-consecutive-titles-3967496#.Udmm2tiYAzY" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/ ... dmm2tiYAzY</a>

Sacked Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini says there were three signings he wanted made last summer.

Manchester United beat City for Robin van Persie, while Mancini admits he also wanted Chelsea winger Eden Hazard.

In an interview with Corriere dello Sport, Mancini said: “Immediately after we won the championship, I thought that three transfers were important.

“Van Persie? Everyone knew, it was not a mystery. We had an agreement and he knew he would be the man who made a difference.

“But we did not move, as we didn’t move for Daniele de Rossi and Eden Hazard, purchases I said would win titles. It is no coincidence that the title was won by the team that took van Persie.”

the sheik thinks that with the money already invested and the team that has been put together at great expense,we are underperforming anyway,he does not think that the answer is to spend 60 million on one player, thats just my observation,
