A City insider told the Daily Star Sunday: “It is now 99 per cent certain that Mancini will be gone in the summer – and Pellegrini, Ancelotti, Klopp or Simeone will be the new manager.”

The way i see it Mancini will be in charge past the summer, unless he's past on his wishes to leave, which is a possible.
You know my feelings about Mourinho but i don't think Txiki shares the same admiration or sees him as the next fit for City, hence the reason why i think he'll stay.
I'm not ITK ior anything like that but I heard taht he's here next year but leave in summer of 2014. I even posted 'all parties will be happy' because inners get another year and outers get their way too.
The perfect man chose Bayern mate, however the very next in line to that system and way of playing is De Boer. Have a look at the De Boer thread in transfer sectiona nd see the post I posted of an article about him. Well written, concise and has taught me a lot. I've since checked De Boer out more, watched more of Ajax and taken a look at style of play. he'd fit the Txiki profile, he's just a big gamble. I don't know if it can be justified Dan. I'm happy to punt for him but it's easy to say this as a fan withouyt my bollocks being on the chopping block. If he fails I can only fear TCM and other posting my older posts in favour of him and also United winning a title etc, meanwhile the Spaniards get thrashed for it and it's a blemish on their c.v's. Still, you give me £500k pa let alone £millions and I'd be willing to let Mansour slip one into me let alone take the heat on a failed managerial appointment.

Cruyff suggested to Txiki that we employ De Boer ;)
I think De Boer to City is most probable. If we do retain the services of Manicni for another season then I think De Boer will take over then. If not I can see him now. The only reason he may not get the job is because of Pellegrini's experience possibly. I personally reckon De Boer is the man, he's Ajax and Barca coached, knows it inside and out, good at bringing youth through and gets 100% out his team. Also speaks English, Dutch (obviously), Spanish and German I believe.
If de Boer comes to City, I wouldn't be surprised to see Bergkamp become manager at Ajax.
Like i said, they're not going to make a rash decision in reagrds Mancini if they feel the right man isn't available to replace him, the next appointment is crucial to the next stage with the new academy on the horizon.
I think De Boer or Laudrup is the mould they'll be looking at but neither are available until next summer, so i'm led to believe.
In my opinion they'll stick unless Mancini wants out which would make things interesting
How can you say he's a winner when all the evidence from Inter and us is that he's mentally given up on winning the title twice when things have got a bit difficult and his coaches and players have dug him out? That's not the mark of a winner.Jnr Kisby said:Cant believe anyone can think Mancini would go to Monaco. Mancini is a winner, he will always be managing at the top and if he cant he will retire. Don't worry, I've emailed Txiki with my list of suitable candidates to replace Bob.The cookie monster said:You really do despise him don't you?Prestwich_Blue said:How can you say he's a winner when all the evidence from Inter and us is that he's mentally given up on winning the title twice when things have got a bit difficult and his coaches and players have dug him out?
