Liverpool invest millions and win....8th place

QPR invest millions and win...relegation

Money alone guarentees nothing

Don't be silly. Money guarantees the besterestest there ever is no matter what. I've said before, we don't actually need a manager, we just nned to sit back, relax and watch the money take care of it all.

There is no point in getting rid of Bobby. It would mean sweeping changes for a new manager for his own players and own way of thinking. Not good with FFP starting. Bobby has made us successful and will deliver more in years to come.

All from <a class="postlink" href="http://www.transferleague.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.transferleague.co.uk</a>

Last two years (nett):

City - £62.25m
Liverpool - £76.15m
QPR - £58.6m

And FWIW

Chelsea - £135.2m
Rags - £74.25m (plus whatever they paid for Zaha)

With Dortmund confirming the sale of Gotze to Bayern, and the strong rumours being that Lewandowski will follow, surely Klopp can be tempted away from Dortmund with the right project ie. the City one. Ticks every box for a guy like him apart from being in the Bundesliga, and from our point of view he certainly ticks every box in terms of a successor for Mancini.

Be interesting to see what he says before/after the Madrid game tomorrow. The timing of the announcement is appalling and surely designed to unsettle Dortmund as much as possible.

Trailing Bayern by 20 points, as his team are currently doing, would make his departure easier.
